EVEL RED

Installed in the lobby of a residential building in Hong Kong, Evel Red engages in a dialogue with the city’s vertical architecture.
Composed of seven stacked elements, the sculpture references classical human proportions, thus grounding the piece in both a symbolic and corporeal scale.
The deep red evokes the Chinese imperial heritage, while the silver tones suggest a quest for the ideal: purity, transparency, a projection toward the future.
Through its play of balance and contrast, Evel Red explores the tension between memory and modernity in a city where the past endures at the heart of constant motion.
